NEW YORK (CBS 2) – The search continues for a Long Island bank robber who struck twice within minutes on the same day.

Surveillance cameras captured the suspect walking into the New Hyde Park Citibank on Thursday evening where police said he handed the teller a note demanding cash and then fled.

Police said he pulled the same procedure just 20 minutes earlier in Garden City.

The suspect is described as white in his late 20’s, 5-foot-8-inches and was last seen wearing a dark skull cap.
