Reporting Rich Lamb
At the end of Wednesday’s Groundhog Day ceremony, Bloomberg had some choice words for the toothy, weather-prediciting rodent.
Off-mic and unaware it was being recorded, his honor called the animal a son of a something we really shouldn’t be printing here.
When a Reporter asked him about the salty words, he said, “I don’t think that’s correct. I didn’t use any salty language at Groundhog Day whatsoever.”
But as he thought about it further…
“I don’t think I used any salty language. On the other hand, I think it’s also true that you really don’t have standing to talk about this unless you have been personally bitten by a groundhog. Those of us that have, have an ability to understand the issue, to address it clearly.”
He added, we ask forgiveness for the rodents that do these dastardly things.
