NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. (AP) — Mike Glover scored 20 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to lead Iona over Manhattan 85-67 on Monday night.

Alejo Rodriguez added 11 points and 10 rebounds for the Gaels (14-10, 8-5 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference), who snapped a four-game losing streak. Sean Armand had 17 points on five 3-pointers and Scott Machado had 14.

Iona jumped out to a 12-0 lead in the first 3 minutes and led 44-32 at halftime.

A jumper from Michael Alvarado cut the Jaspers’ deficit to 56-51 with 12:07 left to play, but a 14-2 run extended the Gaels’ lead to 70-53 with 8:20 on the clock.

Alvarado finished with 25 points for Manhattan (4-20, 2-11). Demetrius Jemison added 16 points and 13 rebounds, George Beamon had 12 points and Kidani Brutus 10.

Iona outrebounded the Jaspers 41-30 and scored 23 second-chance points compared to 10 for Manhattan.
