With a big smile on his face, Green Bay Packers tight end Andrew Quarless said his life has been incredible the last year.

“Anything you put your mind to, you can do,” said Quarless.

Quarless graduated from Uniondale High School four years ago and, just weeks ago, helped his team beat the Pittsburgh Steelers and win the Super Bowl in North Texas.

“I can’t explain it. It’s just an amazing feeling to be a rookie and be a Super [Bowl] champ,” Quarless said at Uniondale High School on Wednesday. “A lot of guys don’t even see that throughout their whole career.”

Quarless spoke to the hundreds of students gathered and encouraged them to reach for the stars, saying “dreams can come true.”

18-year-old student Alana McDonald got Quarless’s message loud and clear.

“Stay in school. Staff off drugs. Without school, you can’t go anywhere,” she said.

we went to high school together….we went to Holy Trinity High School, and he got kicked out and graduated in the last couple of months at Uniondale

And the oinker does not even have the manners to take his hat off. Money certainly does not buy class. Attitude yes, class and intelligence no.

    1. Duncan says:

How does one define class and intelligence? Much was misconceived by even the “moral” leaders, the judges and scribes even 2000 years ago. The right to speak unfortunately does not always include informed “intelligence” – even when folks speak as though they have some sort of authority to speak.

    2. Chris says:

You see a picture of him and all of the sudden he’s not intelligent and has no class? You don’t know him. The only thing that can be drawn from your comment is that you’re clearly not intelligent.
