Students are taking their grievance to Facebook. They're planning a peaceful demonstration on Monday when they go back to school.

They will be protesting the change in schedule from 9 periods to 8 periods.

Many students say they are concerned because they will lose an elective with the new schedule, despite having more class time.

The schedule was voted into the place by the school board.

Demonstration organizers are directing their fellow students to wear black on Monday and sit down on the sidewalk as soon as they get to school.

What do you think? Do the students have a point? Sound off in our comments section.
