Johan Santana disputed a published report on Sunday that claimed he would not pitch in 2011 after serious shoulder surgery last year. Santana, stating that his rehab is right on track and where it's supposed to be, said "how can you have a setback at this point. I haven't even got on the mound. I haven't even forced my body to throw hard."

I had a chance to sit down with Santana and began by asking him whether it was true that he might not pitch for the Mets this season.
