Police Search For Attempted Rape Suspect In Queens

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD released a sketch of the suspect of a Queens attempted rape case.

They said that at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, the man followed a woman into a building near 141st Avenue in Springfield Gardens, where he grabbed her rear, threw her to the ground, pulled her pants to her knees, and attempted to rape her.

The attacker fled when a neighbor opened an apartment door. He is described as a Black man around 18 to 23-years-old, standing at 5'5" and wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, and a dark-colored North Face backpack.
