NEW YORK (WFAN) – WFAN’s Jon Heyman is reporting that former Mets pitcher Oliver Perez has signed a minor league deal with the Washington Nationals.

Tuesday, Yankees GM Brian Cashman said he has no interest in the left-hander. The Yankees considered Perez, before concluding that they would be better off without him. “It’s not something that makes sense for us,” Cashman said.

Does Oliver get additional money to play for the Nats on top of his $12,000,000 payed by the Mets? Managa Miniya cost the Wilpon’s $18,000,000 this year with bad contracts….but his track record is still better then one Bernie Made-Off.
