NEW YORK (WFAN) – Who wouldn’t want to be on the big stage at Radio City Music Hall, announcing the newest addition to their favorite team?

The Jets are giving their fans a chance to introduce the club’s fourth-round pick (No. 126 overall) on April 30. The contest will begin Thursday on the team’s official website, newyorkjets.com.

New York also announced its annual draft party on Wednesday, slated for draft night, April 28, at the New Meadowlands Stadium.

“Green & White fans can watch the draft from seats in the lower level and enjoy appearances by Jets alumni and cheerleaders,” the team said in a statement. “Also, fans will have the opportunity to go on the field where Jets Fest will be set up for kids and there will be plenty of photo opportunities for all.”

Admission is free and open to the public. Parking will open at 6 p.m. with the festivities starting at 7:30 p.m. on the east side of the stadium.

Round 1 of the 2011 NFL Draft starts at 8 p.m. Rounds 2-7 will continue on April 29-30.
