B&C Morning Show: Boomer's Rangers Blues
Boomer was in a real funk this morning and if you listen to the show -- and I know you do -- then you probably know why.
Boomer's emotions generally run parallel with Rangers' wins and losses and today was evidence of that. But adding to the emotion for the Blonde Bomber is the fact that after last night's 3-0 loss to the Thrashers, his beloved Blueshirts now need not only to beat the Devils 0n Saturday at the Garden, but they'll also need some help to make the playoffs.
So despite the Mets' home opener against the Nationals later this afternoon and the Yankees preparing to take on the Red Sox in Boston, early on this morning Boomer's sullen state could not be penetrated. And it didn't help that Craig was wearing a Devils hat.
Eventually Boomer vented and started to come out if his funk, thanks to Craig's charm and wit, and the boys were off and running on this Friday edition of the Morning Extravaganza...
