ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) – Two college students in upstate New York are facing felony assault charges after prosecutors say they broke a man’s nose and eye socket during a fight.

The Albany Times Union reports that the University of Albany students, ages 19 and 20, were arraigned Saturday in Albany City Court six hours after the early-morning fracas.

Prosecutors say the victim had a broken nose and other facial fractures. He will need plastic surgery.

Court records show the man was being treated at Albany Medical Center.

Both suspects are charged with second-degree assault. Bail was set at $15,000 for both men.
