Cops Say S.I. Burglary Suspect Has Stolen Cash, Metrocards And Even A Cash Register

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are asking for the public's help to find a suspect wanted in six burglaries on Staten Island.

Authorities said the man targeted a variety of establishments, including delis, gas stations, a bar and a grocery store.

The incidents date from early February to April 4, when the suspect hit a Citgo gas station located at 5205 Hylan Blvd.

Police said the suspect has stolen money, computer equipment, a cash register, lottery tickets, phone cards, MetroCards, food, tobacco products and perfume.

The suspect is described as white male with a medium build, who was last seen wearing a light-colored T-shirt, a light-colored knit hat and prescription glasses.

Anyone with information in regard to this individual is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
