NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Police are still on the lookout for a man who they say robbed a Super 8 Motel in Queens back in March.

Police said the suspect walked into the motel located at 31-62 14th St. in Long Island City on March 20 at 9:55 p.m. with a gun and demanded money.

The suspect fired one round at a surveillance TV, took an undetermined amount of money and fled the scene. There were no reported injuries.

Police described the suspect at a 5’9’’ Hispanic male weighing 140 pounds.

Police are asking that anyone with information call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.

    had worked in hotels for long time, i feel sorry for the reception agent, dealing daily with guest complaints, and now with a lunatic firing a gun in the lobby
    too many of these animalistic “gun-equipped” low life bandits lately in the news…..makes me remember that charles bronson movie…i think was “death wish”….god we do need-badly- one charles bronson in this city.
