Titans' Kenny Britt To Face Eluding, Hindering Charges In NJ

NEW YORK (WFAN/AP) — Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt is scheduled to appear in a New Jersey court Tuesday to face charges stemming from a traffic stop.

Britt is charged with eluding an officer, hindering apprehension and obstructing governmental function. He was arrested last week in his hometown of Bayonne after police said he drove his Porsche at 71 mph in a 55-mph zone and then left the scene.

The 22-year-old former Rutgers Scarlet Knights star was picked in the first round of the 2009 draft by Tennessee.

Britt has had several other run-ins with authorities. He was arrested last year for three outstanding traffic tickets, and is accused of not paying a bail bond he helped secure for a friend.

Should the NFL suspend Britt? Sound off below...
