Starbucks Celebrates Earth Day With Free Coffee
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Just one more reason to appreciate Mother Nature.
What does a New Yorker love more than coffee? Free coffee – and that’s what Starbucks is serving up in honor of Earth Day.
Bring in your own reusable travel mug to Starbucks on Friday, April 22, and the barista will fill it up, free of charge.
Of course if you don’t have one of your own, you can purchase a Starbucks version for 20 percent off its original price.

Meanwhile, Earth Day celebrations will take place across the city this weekend.
At Grand Central Terminal, celebrations will be held both indoors and out, as EARTHFAIR, a festival of art, music and the environment will exhibit local organic food, environmental groups and green businesses.
And in Times Square, Earth Day New York will host a so-called “runway show” of green vehicles.
