B&C Morning Show: Goodell Greeted With A Chorus Of Boos

With everything that was going on in the world of sports last night, Boomer & Craig had plenty to talk about when opening up this Friday edition of the Boomer & Carton morning extravaganza.

They began with the NFL Draft, round one of which was last night and was kicked off by a chorus of boos from the crowd when NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell was introduced.  Boomer described the reception for Goodell as startling, saying it's a telling sign in regards to the lockout. Craig didn't think it was that big of a deal, pointing out that the commissioner had to expect upset fans expressing their displeasure.

Then we heard all about a player that St. John's managed to recruit to play for the Red Storm, God's Gift Achiuwa.  Craig thinks that the sky is the limit for this Nigerian native who is transferring from Erie Community College -- and why wouldn't it be?

After all that, Boomer & Craig reflected on last night's draft as far as the Jets and the Giants are concerned.  The Giants had the 19th pick and selected a cornerback out of Nebraska named Prince Amukamara, while the Jets took Temple defensive tackle Muhammad Wilkerson with the 30th pick...
