B&C Morning Show: Joe D Earns An 'A+' From Craig The Professor
Joe D in Brooklyn dialed in to the "Boomer & Carton Radio Program" this morning and began his call by singing the praises of the Blonde Bomber's football accomplishments, saying that Boomer belongs in the Hall of Fame for his 13 year NFL career, which I think I marked the first time I've ever agreed wholeheartedly with Joe.
From there Joe, the Yankee fan, called for Derek Jeter to retire after his sluggish start. Craig compared it to the tail-end of Mickey Mantle's career, which inevitably swung the conversation to another famous Yankees center fielder, coincidentally also known as Joe D. I'm talking of course about Joe DiMaggio, who Joe claims to have had a personally relationship with. When the call concluded, Craigie gave Joe D an "A+" for his efforts today.
Then during Jerry "Rello" Recco's update, Craig had a laughor two at the expense of his old pal Suzyn Waldman and some fun with Styx and their 1983 hit "Mr. Roboto"...
