Aaron Glaser and Lee Rubenstein are back and ready to bring Williamsburg some of the funniest stand up acts to the stage. Tonight’s line up includes Kara Klenk (Comedy Central), Travis Irvine (Troma Films), Andy Haynes (Late Night with Jimmy Fallon), Nat Towsen (The Moon), Will Hynes (UCB), and Danny Jolles (Hammerkatz). I’m sure Miss Couric won’t be objecting to this during their discussion. Abrams will also be available after the program to sign his latest book, Man Down: Proof Beyond a Reasonable Doubt that Women are Better Cops, Drives, Gamblers, Spies, World Leaders, Beer Tasters, Hedge Fund Managers, and Just About Everything Else. Couric needs no introduction as one of America’s favorite broadcasters. Come see the two of them talk politics, pop culture, and the roles between men and women in society. Event starts at 8pm and tickets are $29.

Want to learn more about the Bronx? Hop on the Bronx Culture Trolley tonight. You’ll be able to visit a variety of cultural destinations for free. Stops include the Bronx Museum of the Arts, Pregones Theater, BronxArtSpace, and many more. Can’t make it this month? Don’t worry…you can catch it next month, too. The adventure begins at 5:30pm, 6:30pm, or 7:30pm and is free for those participating.
Literary Trivia Night
Help Europa Editions celebrate their 100th published book by coming to the launch party for, The Hottest Dishes of the Tartar Cuisine by Alina Bronsky. They’ll be devoting the month of May to many celebrations. From 6-8pm there will be happy hour specials, literary prizes, and lots of giveaways. All you have to do is show up at Lolita Bar and enjoy the party.

Television icon Dick Van Dyke promotes his memoir, My Lucky Life In And Out Of Show Business tonight. He’ll sit down with reviewer Tom Santopietro and discuss his book and life in Hollywood. Those who buy the book will get priority seating. Event begins at 7pm.
