Will Ferrell Returns As George W. Bush To Respond To Killing Of Osama Bin Laden

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork / AP) – “Saturday Night Live” alumnus Will Ferrell has returned to his President George W. Bush impression, this time to respond to the death of Osama Bin Laden.

In a Web video posted Wednesday on Funny Or Die, Ferrell’s Bush sends his remarks from a Sizzler steak house in Texas. His message? He has personally overseen a “strategic and covert operation,” killing a gopher that had been terrorizing his backyard.

The parody ends with the Bush character getting the news that bin Laden has been killed. That makes “two good things,” he says.

Ferrell’s impression of Bush, popular on SNL, was resurrected in a 2009 Broadway show, as well as in sporadic videos.

Watched by more than 110,000 by Wednesday afternoon, the video was rapidly gaining viewers.

The hypocrisy of the left is a joy to behold. Obama expanded the patriot act, expanded drone attacks, expanded the wars and yet there are no protests, no Cindy sheehan’s, no body counts on MSNBC…. And the harsh interrogations worked. The Left was so wrong that they can and never should be taken seriously again.

Will Ferrell should stick to playing elves. It is a better fit with his intelligence or more appropriately his lack of intelligence

I’m no fan of George Bush but get your facts straight before you spread them. The story is that he was in a classroom with 2nd graders on 9/11 when he got the news of the attack on the US not that he was reading to preschoolers on Sunday evening when he heard Bin Laden was killed.

please know 1 should not try and get a response from that man cause he might take credit for it when i saw and heard somewhere that he was reading a mothergoose book to a group of pre schoolers….
