Walking into Applejack Diner is much like walking into any other diner. You'll find a fairly standard diner menu here as well, but sometimes that's exactly what you want to push you through one more excruciatingly long work week: The familiar comfort foods that will soothe you as you inch closer to Friday. Applejack Diner fills that need nicely, with burgers and fries, an all day breakfast menu - throw in friendly service and you have yourself a good place for lunch.

Casa Mono recalls memories of time spent in Barcelona, perhaps a night at La Boqueria, the Spanish market famed for its multitude of wares... including food stalls to make even the most stalwart envious. Enjoy a lunch comprised entirely of small plates - bring a few friends to share - and try a little of this, a little of that. Definitely try the pulpo con fennel y grapefruit (pictured); octopus with fennel and grapefruit, sure to brighten anyone's day.

No, there's nothing on the menu here beyond frites, but what else do you need? Perfectly twice-fried, crisp exteriors with fluffy interiors, Pommes Frites has their namesake dish down pat. Choose from a huge list of dipping sauces, ever changing; or make your own combination by asking them to mix a few together for you. The basil pesto mayo smacks of garlic and basil, making it a bright, fresh sauce for your dipping pleasure. Or try the war sauce - peanutty, tangy, delicious. Every choice is a good starting place as you explore frites... or try the poutine, a Canadian specialty made of frites topped with gravy and cheese curds. Yum!
