Now probably isn't the best time for the Yankees to see the Red Sox and for the Red Sox to see the Yankees. The two teams meet for a three-game series this weekend at Yankee Stadium with both struggling of late.
The Yankees enter the season with a four-game lead over the Red Sox, but have lost two in a row and are just 8-9 in their last 17 games. The Red Sox come to New York at 17-20 after dropping both games in a two-game series in Toronto, and are still looking to reach .500 for the first time this season.
Pete Abraham, Red Sox beat writer for The Boston Globe, joined me to talk about his job covering the Red Sox after a few seasons covering the Yankees and what's going on in the AL East up north.
