Kevin Burkhardt is SNY’s Mets field reporter and with the Subway Series this weekend – combined with his “man-crush” on Kevin — Al “Hughes” Dukes was more than happy to give him a call to come on with Boomer & Craig.
Kevin is very good at his job, having the unique ability to deliver his report while keeping up with the action on-field at the same time. That’s just one of the qualities Al finds so endearing.
Boomer & Craig chatted with Kevin about this weekend’s Mets-Yankees clash and they also touched on an event dear to Kevin’s heart. It will take place at Citi Field on Friday, May 27, when the Mets take on the Philadelphia Phillies. It’s “Celiac Disease Awareness Night”, an autoimmune disease that Burkhardt was diagnosed with about 8 years ago.
