BABYLON, NY (WCBS 880) – Military men and women who are returning from Iraq or Afghanistan and want to live in the town of Babylon can now apply for the down payment assistance.

"It's going to help the economy. A veteran is a proven producer in a community, so it's not wasted money," said Delaney.

The money can be used for a down payment or closing costs. To apply, you must live in the Town of Babylon.
