B&C Morning Show: Mets' Jason Bay Takes A Rest, Craig Blows A Gasket
After a beautiful holiday weekend, Boomer & Craig were back in the saddle again this morning and they got things started by talking about the Mets, who after dropping 2 of 3 to the Phillies, belted out 15 hits in a 7-3 win over the Pirates yesterday.
Jason Bay was not in the lineup as he was given a scheduled day off to rest. With that said, even after an impressive Mets win, Craig was not in a good mood -- and Bay is to blame.
We also heard that the Wilpon's may have an option to buy out David Einhorn (who is a man) in 3-5 years. If this is true, Craig doesn't like what this could mean down the road. Boomer opted to look at from a different angle and he did his best to explain to his radio partner that this is not necessarily a bad thing...
