NEW YORK (AP) — The Tony-nominated musical “Million Dollar Quartet” is leaving Broadway, but it will still be rocking New York.

Producers said Tuesday they’ll be moving the show off-Broadway to New World Stages on 50th Street in July after more than a year performing at the Nederlander Theatre.

The musical tells the story of a real-life impromptu jam session on Dec. 4, 1956, between Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley at Sun Records’ storefront studio in Memphis, Tenn.

In addition to the New York show, there are also productions of “Million Dollar Quartet” playing in Chicago and London and a national tour will launch in October.

The last show on Broadway will be Sunday.
