Mets Promote Lucas Duda; Nick Evans Designated For Assignment

NEW YORK (WFAN) – The Mets promoted outfielder Lucas Duda from Triple-A Buffalo on Friday.

Duda is just 2-for-20 in the major leagues this season, but has hit .389 (14-36) with five HR and 12 RBI in his last 10 games with the Bisons and will try to carry some of that momentum with him.

Nick Evans was designated for assignment Thursday to open a spot on the Mets’ roster.
