The NHL offseason is barely a week old, but after the NHL Awards a few nights ago, the hectic offseason schedule continues with the NHL Draft on Friday night in Minnesota.

The metro hockey teams have three of the first 15 picks in the draft with the Devils picking fourth, the Islanders picking fifth and the Rangers picking 15th. There are a variety of ways each of the three teams can go in the first round and there are several needs for the city’s three teams as well.

Brian Monzo, producer for WFAN and hockey writer for WFAN.com, joined me to talk about what the metro teams will be looking for in the first round of the NHL Draft and to also look back at the Stanley Cup finals.
