B&C Morning Show: Craig Dreams About Men, Boomer Remembers His Old Man

Jerry "Rello" Recco began his first update of the day with a recap of Robinson Cano's power display in the desert last night, where he defeated Adrian Gonzalez to capture the 2011 Home run Derby Crown.

Although he never played a sport professionally as Boomer did, Craig was able to relate to how Cano felt following his triumph - or at least to a dream the Yankees' second baseman referred to.  Craig's dream was actually a little different - as it involved leather chaps and friendly game of "Cowboys and Indians."  Come to think of it the dreams weren't really all that similar at all, other than the large group of men.

Boomer admired the moment shared by Cano and his father Jose - who pitched to his son for the contest - after the deciding home run was hit.  The touching moment inspired the Blonde Bomber to reflect on the relationship he shared with his father, who passed away back in 1999.

From there Jerry filled us in on what Jose Reyes is doing during his time in Phoenix and the guys wondered if Derek Jeter - who isn't in Phoenix - is even worthy of his All-Star selection in the first place...
