B&C Morning Show: Bernie Williams Relieves Joba Chamberlain In The Allstate Studio
Al Dukes booked Joba Chamberlain to join Boomer & Craig this morning only to get a call last night saying the 25-year-old right hander was not feeling well and would not be making the trip to Manhattan for his sit-down with the guys.
Not too worry though, Yankees legend Bernie Williams filled in admirably for the under-the-weather Chamberlain and he had a few interesting things to say about his former teammate Derek Jeter skipping this year's All-Star Game.
The guys also asked Bernie about this current Yankees club and what we might expect in the second half. We also heard about Bernie's post-playing career and his new book "Rhythms of the Game: The Link Between Musical and Athletic Performance." Speaking of Bernie's book, Boomer & Craig were a little upset with the former Yankees center fielder after they were both glaringly absent from the publication, while their colleague Mike Francesca was front and center...
