Fire At Little Ferry Used Car Dealership 'Suspicious'
LITTLE FERRY, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Smoke and flames from a two-alarm fire at a used car dealership in Little Ferry could be seen for miles Tuesday morning.
Approximately 100 firefighters responded to the scene after the blaze broke out around 6:20 a.m. in an office area at the Victoria Car Dealership on Route 46.
Little Ferry Fire Chief Rob Cordasco said within minutes of his arrival the flames began shooting through the roof.
Nobody was inside at the time of the fire. No injuries have been reported.
Cordasco told 1010 WINS the fire is being treated as suspicious since the Daytona Auto Sales, which is across the street, was damaged in an arson fire a few months ago.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
