New Jersey House Filmed For ‘Amityville Horror’ For Sale

TOMS RIVER, N.J. (CBSNewYork) — Realtors in New Jersey are hoping to scare up a buyer for “The Amityville Horror” house.

The home featured in the 1979 movie is back on the market.

The 1920s era, 10-room colonial is now listed for $1.35 million.

For the movie, an outer structure was built around the house to make it look more like the home in Amityville, New York — whose owners claimed it was posessed evil spirits.

The home was listed at $1.45 million last month.
