B&C Morning Show: Get Me Nnamdi Asomugha!

Predictably, Boomer & Craig opened up this Friday edition of the "Morning Extravaganza" talking about the prospect of the Jets landing the prize of the free-agent pool, cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha.

With the Houston Texans inking former Bengals (Who Dey!!!) cornerback Jonathan Joseph, the Jets appear to be the front runner to land Asomugha and the mere thought of that is making one Craig Carton... excited.

Considering Boomer is a not a Jets fan and is a professional, his demeanor was a little more even-keeled, but like Craig, the Booms agrees teaming Nnamdi up with Darrell Revis is a scary thought indeed.

As for the Giants, they agreed to a deal with Mathias Kiwanuka - a move Craig was quick to diminish as his dislike for the Giants seems to be increasing by the day.  According to Craigie, the Big Apple has clearly turned into a Jets Town.

To say the Green and White is consuming Craig would be an understatement, case in point - last night Craigie had a rather interesting dream that involved him in a green Speedo and at one point, in an awkward embrace with Asomugha.

In addition to all of the football goodness to talk about, the Mets are making themselves newsworthy as they just keep on wining - taking 4 straight from the Reds in Cincinnati - and currently are 3 games over the .500 mark for the first time all season with a record of 54-51.  If you needed further indication that the Mets are still relevant - Boomer & Craig are planning on making the  trip to Citi Field this Monday night when the Marlins come to town.

So a busy Open as the Blonde Bomber does his best to settle in after a rough commute  from Long Island this morning, luckily his radio partner was well rested and ready to go...
