NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Actor Al Pacino is dealing with some real life drama after his 21-year-old daughter, Julie, was arrested on a drunken driving charge over the weekend.

Police said Pacino was stopped in her Mercedes at a traffic checkpoint on West Houston Street in Manhattan around 1 a.m. Saturday.

According to People Magazine, she told police she drank three beers and “smoked pot” earlier in the night. Police said Pacino’s blood-alcohol level was over the legal limit for driving.

She was arraigned later that day and released on her own recognizance.
