When Friday’s edition of the ‘Morning Extravaganza’ concluded all indications were that the Jets were going to lure cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha to New York, team him up with Darrell Revis and go and win a Super Bowl.  At least that is how Craigie had it playing out.

Well as Boomer & Craig took their place in the Allstate Studio just before 6 a.m. this Monday morning, things did not exactly work-out as it appeared they might.

Instead Asomugha signed a deal with the Eagles and the Jets inked former Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress and resigned cornerback Antonio Cromartie, so Boomer & Craig had plenty to talk about.

Not only did Eagles swoop in and nab Asomugha, but the Phillies (holla!!!) landed arguably the best player on the baseball market as they made a deal with the Astros for outfielder Hunter Pence.  Craig has never hid his disdain for the city of Philadelphia, so needless to say he was a little disturbed by the moving and shaking that took place in the City of Brotherly Love over the weekend and he was lookin’ to vent…
