Great job by mike and kudos to the jets for letting him in. Mike is a legend. no one on the radio is comparable to mike.

Are you really a Jets fan? You’re absolutely right, though, that no one on radio is comparable to Francesa: 99% of other radio broadcasters don’t come across all-knowing like they know everything, and they actually admit when they’re wrong and credit other sources without plagiarizing. Imagine that.

Mile is great and you jet fans are all talk and haven’t won nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Scott

Well, if you’re entertained by self-absorbed braggarts and bullies, I guess Fran-say-so is great. You must be one of those moronic sycophants who keeps calling in to His Highness to say, “Hey Mike, love the show, great show, listen all the time!”

The biggest unsolved mystery ever is how this big-shot jerk has the ratings he has. You can’t tell me that the large majority of New York sports fans/radio listeners are actually entertained by this boorish, bombastic windbag. He may be knowledgeable about sports, but the way he conveys that knowledge is downright shameful. His arrogant, know-it-all behavior, refusal to own up to(many) mistakes, and rude, classless treatment of callers (peons) who disagree with His Majesty in increasingly turning off many, many more listeners with every passing day. Go back to your castle, Mr. Big Shot, while us little people try to make ends meet to pay off our 3,500-square foot “average size” houses.

Thankfully, I stopped listening to Fran-say-so altogether about six months after Chris Russo left. He’s become such an insufferable, overbearing a** and such a bitter grouch. I guarantee you that he never would’ve lasted hosting solo like this for 20+ years and wouldn’t be anywhere near the mystifying level of clout that he now has. He simply gets by on name recognition and owes such a large debt of gratitude to Russo. At least when Dog was there, the show was tolerable and often entertaining. Now there’s no one there to counter-balance him and rein him in from his bias opinions. I cannot believe that FAN doesn’t force him to have a sidekick/partner because he’s so downright unbearable. Those ratings have to be rigged.

Great job by Mike Francesa and the Jets yesterday:

I can’t believe the Jets invited this pompous blowhard/fraud out to their training facility. Over the last two years, he’s gone so far out of his way to blast Rex Ryan as classless and full of himself (which is the ultimate irony it’s laughable) and every corner of the organization in every way possible. It’s equivalent to inviting the schoolyard bully who beats you up, picks on you, and calls you names to your graduation party. Why would the Jets help this jerk’s ratings after all the nasty things he’s said to disparage the franchise? I don’t get it at all.

    • dan

Totally agree. With the way I’ve heard he’s constantly trashed Rex and the organization since Week 16 in ’09 and poured cold water on every aspect of the team in every game during and between both runs to the AFC title game the last two years, I’m shocked the Jets would have him come in. Gee, are we Jet fans supposed to forgive and forget the nasty things he’s said in the last 20 months? No way we will. Get lost, FRAUDCESA. I urge all Jet fans and everyone else to boycott this overrated, arrogant d-bag. If I want to hear Jet players and personnel or any sports talk in afternoon drive, I’ll tune to 1050, the Jets station.
