NEW YORK (WFAN) – Steve Somers opened up a Wednesday night schmooze recapping the Yankees’ 9-3 win over Los Angeles and Ivan “Super” Nova’s performance as he battles to secure a spot in the Bombers’ rotation.

Somers then went on to lament the Mets’ 9-5 loss to San Diego, saying the team “left more men on base than they have in their farm system!”

But the biggest piece of news, perhaps, was Steve Smith spurning the Giants for the rival Eagles.
