“Watch out because we’re here to win,” she says.

The softball team is made up of girls mostly between 11 and 12-years-old.

Borenkoff says the league is fun and that the girls are have become like sisters.

“The adrenaline and having all your friends on the team, getting hyped up for the game, the cheers, winning,” she says. “We all have each other’s backs, and we pick each other up if we lose.”
