NEW YORK (WFAN) – With the recent struggles from Mariano Rivera, Steve decided to open his Thursday night show teasing Yankees fans and asking the question: has father time caught up with Mr. Automatic?

Rivera blew a save and couldn’t hold a lead in consecutive games earlier this week. Mo nearly faltered for the third straight game on Thursday, but alas it wasn’t to be. Lucky for Mariano, a three-run homer wasn’t enough to overtake the Yankees’ lead.

But is something wrong with the Sandman? His age, perhaps?
