Before he could deliver his first update of the morning, the guys congratulated Jerry ‘Rello’ Recco on his new gig with the Cowboys Radio Network.  Jerry, who up to this point could be described as a humble fella, then showed how the new job has changed him, and how he views himself in the industry, by declaring himself the “King of All Media.”

Boomer & Craig somewhat dismissed Jerry’s declaration and instructed him to carry on and deliver another one of his award winning updates.  Jerry began by pointing out to Craig that Keegan Bradley – not Tiger Woods – won this past weekend’s PGA Championship.

After that we heard about the Mets’ 5-3 loss to the Diamondbacks, with the loss the ‘Not So Amazins’ fell 20.5 games behind the 1st place Phillies (holla!!!) in the NL East.

Over in the AL East, the Yankees were rained out in the Bronx and will begin a 7-game road trip in Kansas City tonight, where A.J. Burnett will get the start against the Royals…
