Report: Jets' Rob Turner Has Broken Leg, Will Need Surgery

NEW YORK (WFAN) -- The Jets' offensive line, which allowed seven sacks on Monday night, will reportedly lose versatile backup Rob Turner for an extended period of time.

According to the New York Daily News' Manish Mehta, Turner broke his right leg in last night's 20-16 loss to the Houston Texans.

Turner was injured and carted off the field in the first quarter. Rex Ryan, who saw his line falter without Nick Mangold, Brandon Moore and Turner, wasn't pleased after the game.

"Clearly we've got a long way to go with our protections," said Ryan. "We've got to figure this thing out, because it's ridiculous."

Turner's injury leaves the Jets thin behind their starters on the offensive line.

"First and foremost, the Jets will be in the market for an offensive lineman or two this week," wrote WFAN's Peter Schwartz on Monday.

Who should the Jets target for their O-line? Let us know in the comments below...
