Second Victim Dies In Connection With Washington Heights Stabbing Spree

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- There has been another death in connection with Tuesday's bizarre stabbing rampage in Washington Heights.

Police say Christian Falero was naked and armed with a ten-inch kitchen knife when he began knocking on doors in his Riverside Drive building.

He allegedly stabbed four people.

An 81-year-old man died Tuesday. A 60-year-old woman died from her wounds on Wednesday.

Falero faces murder and robbery charges.

Police said that after the stabbing spree, Falero ran outside and began screaming about the end of the world. When police found him, police say he was stabbing himself with the knife.

Ramon Acosta, Falero's neighbor, said he always seemed nice.

"I guess he just flipped," Acosta said.

If convicted of the crime, what is the appropriate punishment in this case? Sound off in our comments section.
