For the majority of us a $7,000 a night hotel room would be a serious splurge, if not an impossibility, but for Kim Kardashian and her new hubby, Kris Humphries, the penthouse of the Gansevoort Hotel on Park Avenue South is home.

According to the New York Post, the newlyweds are getting the star treatment at the Gansevoort.  The hotel has spared no cost in accommodating their new residents.  Their suite is now adorned with “K&K” monogrammed towels, sheets, pillow cases and champagne bottles.

Seriously, who needs monogrammed champagne BOTTLES!?!

In true Kardashian fashion, Kim was able to figure out a way to get paid to relocate to New York.  While Kris is busy doing his basketball player thing with the New Jersey Nets, Kim and her sister Kourtney will be shooting ‘Kourtney and Kim Take New York’ for the E! Network.

She may prove to be useful to her family business while she’s here.  The Kardashian Klan has a branch of Dash, the family chain of boutiques, in SoHo.  TMZ recently snapped photos of Dash being boarded up for Hurricane Irene.  If you get their early enough, perhaps you’ll see Kim doing some post storm clean-up…or not.
