Jets Kicker Folk, Punter Conley Win Jobs, Fullback Conner Injured

NEW YORK (AP) — Rex Ryan says kicker Nick Folk and punter T.J. Conley have won their respective training camp competitions and made the Jets' roster.

Folk, New York's kicker last season, beat out Nick Novak. Ryan praised Novak on Tuesday, but added that "Folk is our guy.'' Conley won the job over Chris Bryan after a close competition.

Ryan says that fullback John Conner is in a walking boot with a left ankle injury, but he hopes he'll be ready for the season opener on Sept. 11 against Dallas.

Cornerback Darrelle Revis tweaked a hip in the 17-3 preseason win over the Giants on Monday night and he'll be limited in practice, but Ryan says it's nothing serious.

Wide receiver Logan Payne has a dislocated left wrist that will likely require surgery.
