Police Seek Enno 'Lewy' Tianen For Questioning Following Alleged Theft Of $100,000 Poster

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD is asking for the public's help to find a man in connection with the case of a brazen art theft.

Police want to question 31-year-old Enno Tianen after the alleged theft of a $100,000 Calvin Klein poster from the second floor hallway at 40 West 23rd street.

Police said the thief, caught on a surveillance video, came prepared with a tube to hold the rolled-up poster.

The poster is a 1999 ad for Calvin Klein with an acrylic image added to it by the modern artist KAWS. To see more images of his work, click here.

The suspect walked westbound on West 23rd Street after stealing the art, police said.

Police describe the suspect as white, 5'11", with a thin build and mustache. The suspect was wearing a dark green hoodie, blue jeans, sneakers, a tan baaseball cap and dark sunglasses.
