Hoboken Gears Up For Bi-Annual Arts & Music Festival

HOBOKEN, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Despite the threat of a rainy day, Hoboken is gearing up for their bi-annual Arts & Music Festival Sunday.

The event will host over 300 artists, photographers, sculptors, and musicians.

Additionally, rides, games, and face painting can be found for children while local restaurants and food vendors will also be on hand to provide a variety of indulgences.

The free event runs from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. rain or shine, on Washington Street between 1st and 7th Street. Throughout the day, street cafes will be situated throughout the area and offer everything from Indian, Greek, French, Italian and Cajun treats.

Fine artists will be located between 2nd and 3rd Street as well as a crafters display where handmade items such as pottery, metalwork, candles, jewelry, household items and more will be available for purchase.

Three stages of live music will be set up with eclectic performances by Skanatra, an energetic Frank Sinatra-infused ska band, Swingadelic, known for their big band covers and jazz standards, and many more.

Noon – The Jersey Follettes
12:45 p.m. – Emily and the Turitones
2:00 p.m. – Swingadelic
3:30 p.m. – The Romance Commandos
4:45 p.m. - Skanatra

12:30 pm – Specktrum
1:00pm - LiL Monstaz
1:45 pm – The Benson Ridge Project
2:30 pm – Hello Radio
3:45 pm – Buzz Universe
5:00 pm – Frankie Morales and the Mambo of the Times Orchestra

12:30 pm – Hudson Dance & Music
