The big winner of the day was Solber Pupusa from Red Hook, who won over the judges with their signature pupusas -  a Salvadorean dish made from a thick corn meal patty, typically filled with cheese, meat, or beans.

The People's Choice award went to last year's Rookie of the Year winner, Souvlaki GR, a Greek vendor with a storefront in the Lower East Side.

The popular Korilla BBQ won this year's Rookie Award, and quickly threw an impromptu victory party.

The Best of New Jersey award went to The Taco Truck from Newark, while another contender, Cinnamon Snail, won a special Maker's Mark Challenge.

As for dessert, Chinatown's Wooly's Ice took home the prize with their Taiwanese shaved ice desserts.
