B&C Morning Show: Bob Costas Shares His Playoff Excitement With Boomer & Carton
After talking at length with John Smoltz, Boomer & Craig kept the base-ball rolling (see what I did there?) when they welcomed broadcaster Bob Costas to the program.
Like Craig, Costas attended the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University (well actually, he has an honorary degree from the prestigious school after leaving early to pursue his blossoming broadcasting career, which ended up turning out okay) and he had one question for Craig: 'What did they teach you there?'
Craig didn't have much in the way of a rebuttal, choosing rather to thank his lucky stars for the Blonde Bomber sitting to his right.
With that out of the way, Costas talked with Boomer & Craig about the upcoming MLB playoffs, which he is very excited about.
The guys also offered a little career advice for the media veteran, encouraging him to pursue the seat next to Kelly Ripa on 'Regis & Kelly' which will be left void come November 18th, when Regis calls it quits. Costas laughed at the notion, which Craig took as a nervous laugh that indicated there is something brewing on that front...Hmmm - Stay Tuned...
