B&C Morning Show: Dwyane Wade Talks NBA Lockout With Boomer & Carton
The guys were happy to welcome Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade to the program this morning. I think it's safe to say Craig's son Lucky T was beside himself, because he got a "Happy 7th Birthday" wish from the NBA superstar.
Wade talked with Boomer & Craig about the ongoing NBA labor negotiations, which at this point are still just talk. Wade expressed his desire to put it all in the rear-view mirror and get back to playing basketball.
Speaking of playing, Wade - along with some other notable players - will be taking part in a charity basketball game hosted by none other than Isiah Thomas down in Florida on October 8th.
Craig, of course, was sure to bring up the Heat's loss to the Mavericks in the NBA finals and his relationship with LeBron James. Wade also admitted how much he enjoys playing in the Garden, which prompted Boomer to remind him about how improved the Knicks are.
Wade also seemed a bit humbled when Craig filled him in on how his other son, Sonny D did a report for school on him last year, because despite Craig's efforts to raise his kids as full-fledged Knicks fans, his two boys love Dwyane Wade.
The interview ended the same way it began, with Wade wishing 7 year-old Lucky T the happiest of birthdays, which was really cool...
