B&C Morning Show: Dan Marino Talks Jets, Giants With Boomer & Carton
Taking a break from all of the Yankees talk, Boomer & Craig welcomed in Dan Marino to help shift gears and talk some football.
Like Boomer, Marino can be seen every Sunday on the NFL Today on CBS. Before moving on to the Jets and the Giants, Marino talked about the mess his former team, the Miami Dolphins, are currently marred in. Looks as if the Fins are the leader in the all important 'Andrew Luck Sweepstakes.'
The guys moved on to the Jets, who face a stiff test this Sunday in New England and have looked very bad in their last two games (both losses). Marino gave his take on Mark Sanchez, who has been under a lot of pressure since center Nick Mangold was lost to a high ankle sprain. There is a 'pretty good' chance Mangold will play against the Pats.
As far as the other QB in the Big Apple, when Craig asked Marino for his take on Giants signal caller Eli Manning, the Hall of Fame quarterback was quick to remind everyone that Eli has already won a Super Bowl and that is not easy to do.
That comment prompted Craig to remind both Marino and Boomer that they both have not won a Super Bowl, but at least the Blonde Bomber didn't get blown out...
