Police Searching For Missing Tourist From Ottawa

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The search is on for a missing tourist.

Police said John Stapleton was last seen Sunday morning around 11 a.m. in Lower Manhattan near the World Financial Center.

The 72-year-old is visiting from Ottawa, Canada.

Stapleton had been scheduled to take a cruise leaving Pier 80 on the West Side at 4 p.m.

He is 5'9", 130 pounds with a white beard and mustache.

Stapleton was last seen wearing gray pants, brown shoes and a light brown jacket.
